Biography

I am currently a research scientist at Facebook Reality Labs. Previously I was a postdoctoral scholar with Doris Tsao at Caltech where I studied the neural mechanisms of segmentation in the visual cortex. Before that I was a graduate student with Vikaas Sohal at UCSF, where I investigated networks dynamics in prefrontal microcircuits and in chronic intracranial (ECoG) recordings from epileptic patients as part of the DARPA SUBNETS project. I have been generously funded during my training by the Arnold and Mabel Beckman foundation and the Burroughs Wellcome Fund.
